Girsimran Sahota Wins Spelling Bee

Eighth Grader Gursimran Sahota Wins Annual Tamarac Spelling Bee

Eighth grader Gursimran Sahota will represent Tamarac at the 2012 Greater Capital Region Spelling Bee after winning Tamarac’s annual Grade 4-8 Spelling Bee in November. Gursimran will compete against students from school districts across the Capital Region on Feb. 7 at the competition held at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady. Congratulations and good luck!

Students, Faculty and Staff Honor Veterans with Flag Display

In honor of Veterans Day, students, faculty and staff created a display of American flags with personal messages of thanks and remembrance for fathers, mothers, uncles, grandparents and others close to them who served or are currently serving in the armed services.
