Tamarac seniors Jenna Erickson and Adiya Henderson both signed National Letters of Intent to play basketball at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Tamarac Secondary School held a successful lockdown drill this morning. Representatives from the Rensselaer County Sheriffs’ Emergency Services Unit, NYS State Troopers and Health and Safety officer Tim Levan observed the procedures and gave complimentary reviews. Both Tamarac teams came in first place at the Odyssey of the Mind State Competition held in Binghamton, NY this weekend. Tamarac Middle School science teacher, Becky Tennyson, has been selected to participate in a pilot program from Questar III BOCES called Summer Science Research Institute. Tennyson is one of five participants who were chosen for the competitive program.
