Tamarac students in Kids Care Club and RAPP (Reaching Academic and Personal Potential) teamed up to make homemade pies for Joseph’s House, a shelter in downtown Troy. The students delivered the pies to the shelter and were met with appreciation and gratitude. Great job!
Tamarac Elementary students helped bring joy to those in need by creating greeting cards that will be delivered along with Thanksgiving meals from Equinox Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner. The seventh grade students dedicated the middle school courtyard as a Veterans’ Honor Garden. Senior citizens attended the dedication after they attended the Senior Citizens Concert. Lily Fitzgerald performed the “Star-Spangled Banner” on the harp, students spoke about their relatives who are veterans and offered patriotic magnets and bookmarks to the crowd.
