Tamarac High School senior James Heatley spent his senior year attending a high school in Vilnius, Lithuania. He studied ethics, trigonometry, physics, Lithuanian literature and history, music and English. In the evenings, he attended a local university to study Lithuanian. James studied Russian at Tamarac and learned about the program from the agency that sponsors the Olympiad of Spoken Russian. Read more »

We want to let our families know that Tamarac Elementary School held a scheduled lockdown drill with the assistance of law enforcement this morning, June 18th.The drill is completely precautionary & provides us with an opportunity to practice keeping our students & staff safe in the event of an emergency.

After a recent tour of the Ronald McDonald House in Albany, fourth grader Kiersten Skaarup decided that she wants to do all she can to help raise needed funds.
