Tamarac 7th grade students participated in a workshop on improvisational theatre. MopCo, also known as The Mop and Bucket Company, has been visiting Tamarac for several years, training our students and presenting an assembly for the entire middle school on the day following the workshops. Tamarac Elementary School held their “No Place For Hate” kickoff assembly on Wednesday, January 24. It was a huge success and our faculty, staff, and students are very excited to pursue this challenge. On November 17, 2018, the Youth Activation Committee (YAC) participated in the Lake George Polar Plunge. They committed to grin and “bear” it for the athletes of Special Olympics by taking a chilly dip into Lake George alongside hundreds of others. Read more »
