District Comes Together to Help School Bus Driver

School bus driversTamarac faculty and staff came together to help one of the district’s bus drivers who is diagnosed with breast cancer. The district held a 50/50 raffle with half of the proceeds going to the driver to help with medical expenses. Custodian Keith Wilson won the raffle and donated his winnings to her as well. Along with collected donations, faculty and staff were able to donate a total of $1,138. “She was overwhelmed,” said custodian Mark Miller, who organized the raffle. “I would like take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped. You all were awesome.”
