Character Challenge Requires Students to Work as a Team

Tamarac Middle School students recently participstudnets working togehter to complete square task in challengeated in the Specials Team event facilitated by Josh Pulito and Amanda Mccreary of the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center. The September (trustworthiness) character challenge requires students to work as a team to problem-solve and think creatively.

Students were broken into teams and rotated through different stations set up in the multi-purpose gym. Each station had a card stating the challenge the team must complete and a set of props. Each team had to work together to problem solve each task. Teams were encouraged to get creative to come up with solutions. The goal of the day was not about how well the students accomplished each challenge, but rather how well they worked as a team to solve the problem. See more photos here.
