I am a Tamarac alum, graduating in 2007 where I then continued my education attending The Sage Colleges. I received my Bachelors in Fine Art with a Painting Concentration in 2011 followed by my Masters in Art Education in 2012.
What is your background like – previous jobs?
I have worked in a variety of school settings in the last five years including here at Tamarac as a long-term substitute art teacher, substitute teaching in Troy with both long and short term substitute positions, working as a teaching assistant at a Questar III school, and then spent over two years as the high school art teacher at Green Tech High Charter School for Boys in Albany.
Tell us about your family?
I just got married to my husband back in May, but we were together for ten years… high school sweethearts! Our families live very close in Cropseyville and Brunswick.
What are your interests outside of school?
My interests outside of school are almost all involving being outdoors. Except for my love of cooking and baking, my interests include riding my Harley Davidson, riding my Scrambler 1000 on the trails, snowmobiling in the winter, kayaking, and sitting next to a warm bonfire.
