Tamarac students participate in Re-enactment

students pose during reenactmentEarlier this month, the District Court, in conjunction with the Federal Court Bar Association, presented a re-enactment of the arrest, trial and sentencing of Susan B. Anthony.  The cast featured the current U.S. Attorney, Grant Jaquith as the prosecutor and attorney E. Stewart Jones as Susan B. Anthony’s defense counsel.   Susan B. Anthony was played by Albany Law Professor, Mary A. Lynch.  In order to enhance the realism of the event, Judge D’Agostino requested Tamarac students fill the role of women suffrage supporters. Allison Motzer, Katherine Kazunas, Michaela Pomposello, Mackenzie Barcomb and Jackson Domurad all volunteered in the production.  Students assisted the audience, helped backstage with issues, and robustly supported Susan B. Anthony during the trial proceedings.
