The purpose of this event is to help educate parents in some of the latest topics in school. At times as parents we often ask, “What can we do to help our children succeed in the ever changing school atmosphere?” Come and join these discussions to help bridge the school home connections. Child care will be available. Registration form available here.

Topics are:

The Active Child Our daily lives can be so busy and hectic. How can we help our children to learn to stop and breathe to calm themselves? Learn techniques that can be helpful in dealing with an active child at home. These techniques are strategies that can be carried over into the classroom and throughout their everyday lives.

Math Games– Have you ever asked yourself “What can I do to help my child with math?” Come and find out some simple strategies you can do at home to support our young mathematicians. These strategies can be fun, easy, and engaging for you and your child to work on daily.

Internet Safety– The world is changing and it is our job to know how to keep our kids safe. As parents we need to be one step ahead. Join a discussion on how to keep our kids safe with all of the new technologies available to them.
