Dear Secondary School Families:

Happy Friday! With April coming to a soggy close I am crossing my fingers for May to be a little more seasonable. Hopefully you had a chance to hear Dr. Maloney’s message to the community on Wednesday evening. In case you missed it, I will reiterate one of the major themes - our students and their families have a lot of “normal” activities to look forward to over the coming weeks! I am highlighting some important dates below. I am excited to share with you our quarter three award recipients from the middle school and high school.. We are very proud of our students’ resiliency and hard work.. A big thank you to the PTSA for sponsoring our middle school awards and the Booster Club for its support of our 10th, 11th, and 12th grade quarterly awards. In addition to a certificate, each award recipient in grades 6-9 will receive an ice cream from Stewart’s. Our 10th-12th grade recipients will receive a certificate and a $10 gift coupon to a local establishment. Congratulations to all 52 nominees receiving recognition from their teachers for the third marking period!

Health/Wellness: **IMPORTANT** Please be sure to complete the daily screening survey before sending your child to school each morning. Your child should be kept home if they are experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID. If your child’s symptoms are improving AND they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medicine, they may return to school with a note from their doctor with an alternate diagnosis clearing them to return to school OR a copy of their negative COVID test result. We appreciate your help in keeping our school safe for everyone!
