Music Department News: Winter All County Festival A Success & Guest Conductor Visits Tamarac

On Thursday & Saturday, January 16th & 18th, Tamarac Middle School and High School students performed at the Rensselaer County School Music Association’s annual Winter All-County Festival. Students are selected from a large pool of applicants from all over the county. We are very proud of how hard these students worked to perform in the festival!

On Friday, January 18th, we also had a guest conductor working with our students! Mr. Kody Wallace from Florida State University came into High School Chorus and Choralaires to work with our high school singers. Mr. Wallace listened to each ensemble and guided them through exercises to improve their breathing, tone and musicality.
