2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR BUDGET RESOURCES

BOARD ADOPTS 2019-2020 BUDGET PROPOSAL 

The Brunswick Central School District Board of Education adopted a proposed 2019-2020 budget of $25,431,620. This plan includes a 4.25 percent tax levy increase, which is below the allowable tax cap. The budget continues to support a full range of academic programs, services, sports and extra-curricular activities for students in PreK-12 including; small class sizes, an emphasis on literacy in the elementary school, AP classes, college credit courses in math, science, English, history, marketing and more. The community will vote on the proposed budget Tuesday, May 21 from noon to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the multipurpose gym.

A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for May 9, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Secondary School library. The district will share more budget details in the upcoming weeks including a newsletter mailed to all residents.
