Valerie Lee 

Valerie Lee is a lifelong resident of the Brittonkill Central School District and an alumnus of Tamarac High School. She currently resides in Brunswick with her husband Andy and their two children. Her children are involved in the music and sports programs at Tamarac Elementary and Secondary schools and within the community. Ms. Lee currently holds a seat on the board and understands the importance of maintaining a small school community, making changes to help our students be successful in the future, and putting the needs of the community and the students first.

Carol Rosbozom

My family and I have been residents of our school district for 12 years. My daughter is in 2nd grade at Tamarac Elementary.

I am currently the Vice President of the Brittonkill PTSA and my two-year term ends on June 30th. To continue my commitment to our school community, I am seeking a position on the Board of Education to further my involvement in supporting our school community.

I am currently the Commissioner of Aging for Rensselaer County in which I have more than 14 years' experience in not only our Aging community but supporting our community of all ages. 

Leah Wertz

Seeking a fourth term, Leah Wertz is a lifelong educator devoting over 35 years to public school students. With a collegiate background in English Education, School Counseling and Administration, Wertz is currently a school counselor. She attended public schools in Arkansas and has worked in schools in Texas, Pennsylvania, and NY throughout her career. Wertz and husband John Domurad have lived in the community since 1999, and have one son, Jackson (Tamarac 2021), who now attends Stanford University. She values strong ethics and citizenship, independent thinkers, being fiscally responsible and empowering students as self-directed learners in our global society.

Jack Roddy

Jack Roddy is Director of Sales at Crowne Plaza Albany The Desmond Hotel. Born and raised in Cohoes NY Jack graduated from Cohoes High School and attended Siena College.

Jack has worked in various management positions at the hotel. Jack is a past President of Meeting Professionals International of Northeastern New York and a member of The Albany Kiwanis Club.

Jack and his wife Pam have lived in Brunswick since 1982 and have 3 children John 38, Caitlin 33, and Aaron 24. They also have 3 grandchildren Carly 11, Mackenzie 7, and Jack 3.Carly and Mackenzie both attend Tamarac Elementary.
