DID YOU KNOW: Brunswick CSD Partnership Provides Farm-to-Table Lunches

Brunswick CSD is proud to announce our partnership with Capital Roots, an organization that aims to “reduce the impact of poor nutrition on public health in New York’s Capital Region by organizing community gardens, providing healthy food access, offering nutritional and horticultural education for all ages and coordinating urban greening programs.”

By teaming up with Capital Roots, our schools will be now be using locally sourced produce in our cafeterias! The organization will also be helping us teach our students more about nutrition through the use of “food educators” and educational opportunities.

For more information about Capital Roots and its mission, please visit: https://www.capitalroots.org/
