The high school cafeteria is doing a mini internship with Senior Steven Burdick who is in the Questar Culinary program. He works 3 hours weekly with our high school cafeteria cook Carrie Brundige. Steven's teaching assistant Greg Kerwath is also instrumental in helping Steven and does a wonderful job along with Carrie.
Steven does a variety of food service tasks like: soup prep, general food prep for the remote meals, kitchen sanitation and now cookie making. Steven says his goal is to work in the Culinary field after graduation probably at a senior facility.
This week at the high school cafeteria we are featuring Stevie B.'s Snickerdoodle Cookie.
