Birds of Prey

On Friday, our Sixth grade students participated in two different programs, sponsored by our Arts and Education program at Tamarac.  Rona Leventhal provided our students with a theatrical and expressive storytelling experience in our LGI; while Trish Marki presented her Birds of Prey in the auditorium.  Further details and photos can be found below. Thank you to everyone who made this presentation possible for our students.

Birds of Prey with Trish Marki / Auditorium

“Our educational programs allow learners of all ages to see live birds of prey up-close and to learn about the impressive adaptations and behaviors of these remarkable birds. We also discuss the conservation issues that impact them and how to make a difference. There will be discussion on the different species behaviors and habitats along with hands-on learning with real feathers, talons and bones, as well as information on local wildlife, wildlife rehabilitation and what to do if you find injured or orphaned wildlife”. https://artsandenrichment.org/silent-wings/
