2024 Board of Education Candidates

Jenna Horton
My name is Jenna Horton. I have lived in the Tamarac district for 5 years. I reside with my husband and
two children. I have been serving on the school board for the last 3 years and currently hold the
position of Vice President of the Booster Club. I intend to continue to hear the needs and concerns of
our community members and be a continued advocate for putting our students needs at the center of
decision making. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the process that makes our Tamarac Community so
wonderful.

Dina Trahan
I have lived in the District for over 20 years. My daughter Averianna and son Quentin are former
Tamarac students. I spend much of my free time volunteering for various organizations. I was Brittonkill
PTSA Vice President, LaSalle Booster Club Secretary and volunteered/coached several sports teams. On
the professional side, I served on the board of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Northeastern New
York for eight years, most recently as President and as Vice President of the Professional Networking
Group. With 25+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, currently I am a Residential Mortgage
Officer at Saratoga National Bank.

Danielle Roadcap
My name is Danielle Roadcap and I have been a part of the Brittonkill School District for a very
long time. I feel very connected to the school seeing as I, myself, am a part of the Tamarac
alumni. This is currently my sixth year on the board. I am very grateful for the opportunities that
Tamarac has given to me and I plan to help the current youth experience those things. Now,
having three kids, two of whom graduated and one heading to her senior year, I want to
continue to give back to this great community.
