Dear Secondary School Families:

I hope you are enjoying the snow day (or if you are in the office today, hopefully the kiddos are)!  Regents/mid-year exams will be administered next week beginning with 11th grade students taking ELA on Tuesday. We will conclude the week with the College Physics semester exam on Friday.  We will be running a regular schedule for both the middle school and high school throughout the week.

Due to the impact of a weather related delay, early dismissal, and a closure this week, the second marking period is being extended through Tuesday. As a result, all students will still report to their quarter 2 classes on Monday and Tuesday (please share this info with your child). The third marking period will officially begin on Wednesday. Parents/guardians can expect to see second quarter grades posted on the portal by the afternoon of Tuesday, January 31.

Big Red Day: Big Red Day will be returning on Saturday, January 28. Secondary students are encouraged to participate in “Wear Red Spirit Day” for Friday, January 27th to kick off this annual community tradition. Go Bengals!

SOUPER BOWL: The 6th annual Souper Bowl is almost here!

Every year, the Friday before the Super Bowl, the PTSA organizes this wonderful event for faculty and staff throughout our district. This year, the PSTA will be serving a variety of soups  with goodies made by Carol's Place. Please consider helping the PTSA reach its goal so we can make this the best SOUPER Bowl yet! If you are a fan of NFL football, enjoy the games this weekend. Go BIG BLUE!!!
