For the third year, Questar III BOCES hosted its annual Celebration of Teaching & Learning event at UAlbany. Students in grades 8 through 12 from more than a dozen school districts across New York’s Capital Region participated. Dr. Maloney, Bella DeLorenzo, Tess Bates and Camilla Desso, along with Beth Connor and Mary McNeice attended the event.

The Business Department recently nominated senior, Amber Fagan, for the Business & Marketing Educators Association (BMEA) of the Capital Region for Outstanding Business Student of the Year. Amber was nominated for her academic achievement, citizenship and positive attitude as well as continuing her education in the Business field. Amber plans on majoring in Accounting at HVCC this Fall.
We are thrilled to announce that Amber was among a select group of students in the Capital Region to win the BMEA Award. Thank you to Miss Farrell and Ms. Bernard for their assistance and support.

Mrs. Sheffer's Studio in Art students are finishing up their Louise Nevelson inspired Assemblages (collaged sculptures). They are recycling materials typically thrown away, into art.

The Brittonkill Friends of Music will be offering summer music awards for our instrumental, piano and vocal music students. Students may apply for funding towards summer music lessons or a summer music camp or workshop. The Brittonkill Friends of Music has been earmarking some of this year’s fundraising efforts toward these awards to support our students. The amount of money available per student will depend on how many students apply. The award is intended to cover a portion of summer private lesson instruction or summer music camp/workshop.
Please fill out the following application no later than 3pm on Friday, May 17th. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
