A reminder, today & tomorrow will be a half day and early dismissal due to the heat for grades PreK-8. Middle school dismissal will be at 10:30. Elementary half day dismissal begins at approximately 11:20 AM with all buses dismissed by 11:40 AM.
Over the next week, we will be highlighting the students who are in the top ten percent for the Class of 2025 (in alphabetical order). This honor signifies that these students have achieved academic excellence during their years at Tamarac High School. Meet Tess Bates.
Tess is the daughter of Sarah Williams and Jeffery Bates of Brunswick. Tess has been actively involved in SADD, NHS, Book Club, Choir Council and Glee Club.
Tess plans on going to Hudson Valley Community College to study Education. Congratulations!
Due to the forecasted extreme temperatures, Brunswick Central School District will follow a half-day dismissal schedule on Monday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 24 for all students in grades PK–8. This decision is being made out of an abundance of caution to prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff.
Middle school dismissal will be at 10:30. Elementary half day dismissal begins at approximately 11:20 AM with all buses dismissed by 11:40 AM. There will be no child care offered. Please contact GCC with any questions.
High school students will only report if they have an exam. Please note that Regents exams will proceed as scheduled. Students scheduled to take these exams should arrive on time and will be accommodated in cool spaces.
