Dear Brunswick CSD Families:
This morning Governor Cuomo outlined changes to the zone designation metrics and Brunswick Brittonkill Central School District aims to be compliant with the Governor's directives. Our goal this year is to stay open for in-person instruction, and we want to be prepared to take the necessary steps to ensure that can happen. Although we are not yet within one of the state’s zones, we are asking families for voluntary consent for their children to be tested if COVID testing at school remains necessary to stay open for in-person instruction. This only applies to in-person or hybrid students. Students who are learning in a full virtual setting are not required to be tested. This information is subject to change based on updated guidance.
Please click here to see our full letter regarding our districts consent request.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out via email to our COVIDhotline@brunswickcsd.org address. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
