Brianna Rolston

We are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Secondary School Assistant Principal, Brianna Rolston.

Ms. Rolston is bringing to the position 17 years of experience in education. Brianna has worked as a High School Spanish Teacher in the Brunswick Central School District for 15 years. In addition, she served as the World Languages Program Support Leader, High School Student Senate Advisor, and Class of 2023 Advisor. Along with her official duties, Ms. Rolston has provided her Spanish students the opportunity to travel abroad and mature into global citizens. In 2018, Ms. Rolston was awarded the Teacher Making a Difference Award.

Brianna is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School.  She earned her B.S. in Spanish, Masters of Secondary Education, and New York State certification as a Teacher of the Secondary Spanish from SUNY Albany.  She returned to SUNY Albany for her degree in the School Building Leadership Program. 

Ms. Rolston knew from the time that she was in kindergarten that she wanted to become an educator. Her passion for education and leadership grew through her school years. She felt inspired by her father’s career as an educator and school administrator.

Brianna cares deeply about this community and has built strong relationships with the students, families and her colleagues over the past 15 years. She is eager to use the professional knowledge and leadership skills she has cultivated to serve these relationships in Brunswick as the Secondary School Assistant Principal.  

Ms. Rolston grew up in Clifton Park and currently resides in Latham with her fiance, Brendan, and 14  year old daughter, Kenna, who attends the North Colonie Central School District. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and working around her home.
