We are writing to provide an update regarding district leadership and preparations for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
While Questar III BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Gladys I. Cruz continues to serve as Acting Superintendent, Mr. Ken Facin will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Brunswick Central School District. Mr. Facin is a Questar III BOCES employee and an experienced educational leader who previously served as a school superintendent.
In this role, Mr. Facin will work closely with district administrators and staff to provide leadership and continuity during this period of time. A key focus of his work will be ensuring that the district is fully prepared to welcome students and staff for the upcoming school year.
We appreciate the patience, understanding, and continued support of the Brunswick CSD community as we move forward and prepare for a successful start to the school year.
