The Brunswick CSD campus will be closed on Sunday, January 25. Please stay warm and safe. Stay tuned for any further information on closing and delays.

Our fifth-grade students recently explored the ancient civilizations of the Maya, Aztec, and Inca empires. To bring their learning to life, each student crafted an original artifact representing their chosen culture. These pieces were showcased in a classroom 'museum' setting, allowing peers to present their work and appreciate one another's creativity.

Stay warm out there! ❄️ With temperatures dropping to dangerous levels this week, we want to make sure every student stays safe and comfortable.
🚌 A Note on Your Commute
We know how "brutally cold" it’s going to be, so we’re adjusting our approach to keep you out of the wind chill:
* Wait Inside: Please feel free to wait in your home or a warm car instead of standing at the curb.
* We’ll Wait for You: Our drivers have been instructed to allow for extra time at each stop. They will keep a sharp eye out for students heading toward the bus from their front doors or vehicles.
* Stay Visible: As soon as you see the bus approaching, give a quick wave or start heading toward the stop so the driver knows you're ready!
🧤 Safety Reminders
* Layer Up: Wear a heavy coat, gloves, and a hat that covers your ears.
* Watch Your Step: Be careful of "black ice" on sidewalks and bus steps.
* Cozy inside: while we have warm temps in our buildings, we would never shy away from suggesting bringing an extra sweatshirt with you (just in case).
* Recess: Elementary students stay inside for recess when the temperature drops below 20°. While we encourage fresh air and exercise, we want our students and aides to be safe in the cold.
