Secondary School Spirit Days next week!!!

The life skills class got together to plant baby spider plants in grown cups and 'build' Snowmen. They have the choice to keep them for themselves or give them as gift. We had a lot of fun and they did an awesome job. Special accolades go out to Ms. Anderson for donating baby spider plant and grow cups, Mrs. Furlong for bringing us the plans for our snowmen, and Ms. Lydon for her sewing skills. By the smiles you can tell a good time was had by all!

Good morning. Today, Monday, December 12, Brunswick CSD will be operating under a 2 hour delay.

At the end of each sports season, the NYSPHSAA honors those teams and individuals that excel in the classroom. Those student-athletes, teams, and schools work very hard throughout the year and deserve to be recognized for their academic success.
To receive Scholar-Athlete team recognition with a certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00. The following Tamarac teams have earned this recognition:
• Boys Cross Country
• Girls Cross Country
• Golf
• Football
• Boys Soccer
• Girls Soccer
• Volleyball
Well done, Bengals! Keep up the hard work!

Tamarac YAC is our Youth Activation Committee which supports social inclusion for those with and without intellectual disabilities. This fundraiser raises money for the Special Olympics which is responsible for Unified Sports. These students and staff were definitely freezin' for a reason! #Tamarac

Congratulations to the Tamarac Clay Target Club for finishing the fall season in FIRST PLACE in their conference, competing against teams across New York State. Trap, one of the fastest growing and safest sports in the country, consists of shooting a flying clay disc travelling at speeds up to 50 mph. Clayton L. earned a hard-fought 1st place in conference out of all individual competitors, and the entire team ranked in the overall top 25. Great job!
