In an effort to ensure we have the most current contact information possible for our families and staff members, on Tuesday evening, November 1, 2022, the Brunswick Brittonkill Central School District will run a test of the School Messenger Emergency Notification System. Any parent or staff member that does not receive the test robocall, text and email should alert our communications specialist so we can update your contact information accordingly. New York State requires that students in seventh, ninth and eleventh grades as well as any student new to the district have a physical. A copy of this physical must be on file in the Health Office. If your child has not had a physical AFTER September 3, 2021, one must be submitted or they will be scheduled for a physical by the school physician.
We are anticipating our school physician to be doing physicals here the first week in November. We will schedule your child for a school physical if we don’t receive a copy of a current physical by October 31, 2022. It may be easier to have the doctor fax it to us at the fax number listed below.
If you think you have already sent one in please call the Health Office immediately at (518) 279-4600 Ext 2426. It may not have reached us.

Tamarac Middle School Food Drive! We are kicking off our annual Tamarac Food Drive to support the Brunswick Cares Community Food Pantry. Students should bring items in and give them to their homeroom teacher. It is important to check expiration dates! Suitable items are canned veggies, canned or dry pastas, cold cereals etc. Please do not break-up the cartons of fruit in plastic cups. It makes it difficult for the pantry to store. This will run through October 28th.
The homerooms that bring in the most food items in each grade level will participate in a make your own sundae Ice Cream Social onThursday, November 10th in the HS Cafeteria.
