It's #SchoolBoardRecognitionWeek! We would like to thank all school board members, past and present, for their hard work and commitment to students, families, school and communities.

New York State requires that students in seventh, ninth and eleventh grades as well as any student new to the district have a physical. A copy of this physical must be on file in the Health Office.
If you've had a physical done, it may be easier to have the doctor fax it to us at 518-279-3888. If you think you have already sent one in please call the Health Office immediately at (518) 279-4600 Ext 2426. It may not have reached us.

Tamarac families, we want to make you aware that there will be a number of fire trucks visiting our campus Friday morning, October 13th, for fire prevention week assemblies.

Mrs. McKenna's Exploratory World Language class recently read a book in class about apple carving - a tradition in many Northern European countries around harvest time. Her students then took a turn carving their own!

There will be a National Integrated Public Alert and Warning Test conducted by FEMA tomorrow, October 4th, at approximately 2:20 p.m. The timing of this test will be during the Secondary School dismissal and while our elementary students and teachers will still be in their classrooms. We would like to preemptively alert our Tamarac community, as the test may still alert cell phones when in silent mode.

Our middle school students had a wonderful time with the annual Middle School Character Challenge, facilitated by Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center. Thank you to those who made this event possible today.
