Emily is the daughter of Janine and Carl Frost of Speigletown. In addition to excelling in academics, Emily is a member of Key Club and participated in wrestling.

A reminder that tomorrow, Friday, June 16th is a half day for elementary students. Dismissal will begin at 11:25 a.m., with buses being released at 11:40 a.m.

Alex is the son of Lisa and Matt Ednie of Pittstown. In addition to excelling in academics, Alex participated in Varsity Soccer and Varsity Baseball.

As the school year comes to a close, the I.T. Department will be collecting Chromebooks, cases and chargers from students in grades 6, 7 and 12. Failure to return all three items will result in a fine. Seniors who fail to return their items or pay the appropriate fee will not receive their graduation tickets.
The current market value of the items listed above are: Charger ($20), Case ($25) and Chromebook ($378).

Hannah is the daughter of Joseph Domey and grand-daughter of Rose and Joe Domey. In addition to excelling in academics, she has been a member of National Honor Society, SADD, Key Club and Student Senate. Hannah also was a cheerleader for six seasons.
In the fall, she will attend Niagara University for Criminology and Criminal Justice. Congratulations! #TamaracClassof2023

Russian teacher Anna McKenna and Food Services director Joy Wright have collaborated and will incorporate some Russian food items on National Russian Day - Monday, June 12th. The cafeteria will be serving their usual meal of the day which is Nachos but will also add a few Russian Recipes to their menu.

Our 2023 Summer Scholars course information is now available! There are offerings for students in Elementary, Middle and High School. Class size is limited and transportation will not be provided. A message from the Life Skills Class about Lost and Found:
We have collected everything from the elementary and middle/high school to finish out our school year. Monday, June 12 we will begin boxing up the clothes, water bottles, lunch boxes etc to be delivered to Unity House. Please take a look to see if your child has lost anything. The High School Awards Night has been rescheduled for Monday, June 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the District Auditorium. Students and families will be contacted with any updates individually if necessary.


On Thursday, May 25th 18 new members were inducted into Tamarac’s National Honor Society. Each inductee was “tapped” and inducted by one of the Senior members. The life and legacy of Evan Franz was also honored at this ceremony as senior member James Blake presented his mother with his NHS pin and stole. Evan’s commitment to scholarship, leadership, service and character has set a high standard and will serve as a model for National Honor Society students in the years to come.
