Tamarac families, we want to make you aware that there will be a number of fire trucks visiting our campus Friday morning, October 13th, for fire prevention week assemblies.

Mrs. McKenna's Exploratory World Language class recently read a book in class about apple carving - a tradition in many Northern European countries around harvest time. Her students then took a turn carving their own!

There will be a National Integrated Public Alert and Warning Test conducted by FEMA tomorrow, October 4th, at approximately 2:20 p.m. The timing of this test will be during the Secondary School dismissal and while our elementary students and teachers will still be in their classrooms. We would like to preemptively alert our Tamarac community, as the test may still alert cell phones when in silent mode.

We are hiring - School Monitor and Teaching Assistant positions!

A message from our Health Office: If you haven't already, please complete the emergency 'card' information including the OTC form in Family ID. If you want your child to receive Over the Counter medications you MUST print the form, sign and upload to Family ID or print, sign and have your child bring it to the Health Office. Your student can also pick up a OTC form from the health office to bring home. By NYS law, we are not able to medicate your child without this form being completed.

A message from the Cafeteria: We will be switching our food service payment system to Titan in October. The balance in your students cafeteria account will transfer over to the new system.
