Governor Hochul has declared a state of emergency due to the impending winter storm. During executive-declared states of emergency, schools are not required to use their allotted emergency closing days, which means Brunswick CSD will close tomorrow without losing our remaining emergency closing day. Tamarac is proud to announce our boys & girls basketball, boys & girls indoor track, cheer and girls wrestling were named Scholar-Athlete teams by the NYS Public High School Athletic Association! To receive the honor, a team's GPA must be 90 or above for 75% of the roster.

We are pleased to announce that our District has enrolled with STOPit for students in grades 5-12. STOPit is an online reporting tool designed to deter and mitigate bullying, cyber abuse, and other inappropriate behaviors, consisting of an app and a back-end incident management system for school administrators.

Tamarac is excited to host the D2 CLASS 2 SECTIONAL (CLASS C) Wrestling Tournament at Tamarac High School this Saturday, February 4. Wrestling is slated to begin at 9:30am. The Life skills students have been busy gathering clothing from the elementary and middle/high school to post on the Lost and Found. Please look over the website that has been revised to just an elementary slideshow and middle/high school slideshow. Both slideshows include sweatshirts, sweatpants, winter coats, winter hats and gloves, and snow pants.
