Parents and students are invited to attend an information meeting on Thursday, February 16th at 6pm in the Secondary School LGI to learn about the Spring Season Tamarac Clay Target Club and how students can become a member. The Life skills students have been busy gathering clothing from the elementary and middle/high school to post on the Lost and Found. Please look over the website that has been revised to just an elementary slideshow and middle/high school slideshow. Both slideshows include sweatshirts, sweatpants, winter coats, winter hats and gloves, and snow pants.

A reminder that tomorrow, Friday, January 27th is a half day for all students for a Staff Development day.


On Monday, January 30th, the Secondary School will be following a special schedule to allow for our students, faculty and staff to attend services for Evan Franz. Please note the following: Secondary School Half Day Schedule with dismissal at 10:32 a.m. (periods 1-9). The Elementary School will follow a normal full day of instruction. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we allow our community to come together to pay their respects to a beloved Tamarac student.

Please amend last message. Brunswick CSD will operate on a half day dismissal for both Elementary and Secondary buildings tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25. The Secondary building will dismiss at 10:32 a.m. The Elementary School will dismiss at 11:40 a.m.
Due to the early dismissal, the Algebra I Regents exam will move to Friday, January 27 at 8 am.


Due to the anticipated winter forecast tomorrow afternoon, Brunswick CSD will have a two hour early dismissal. The Secondary School will dismiss at 12:15 pm. The Elementary School will dismiss at 1:30 pm. Thank you for your cooperation.

Due to the continuing weather, the Board of Education Meeting will be moved to tomorrow.

Due to the increasing snow totals, Brunswick CSD will operate on a two hour delay on Monday, January 23. We will evaluate the road conditions in the morning hours. Stay tuned for any updates.


Final: Thank you for your patience and we apologize for the delay in our decision. Many factors went into the consideration, as surrounding areas were more impacted by this storm than others. For the safety of our students and staff, today, January 20, Brunswick CSD will be closed for a traditional snow day. Stay safe.

Due to the anticipated weather forecast for this afternoon, the Brunswick Brittonkill Central School District will dismiss two hours early on Thursday, January 19. All after school activities, including sporting events, are canceled. There will be NO aftercare.

Good morning. Today, Wednesday, January 18th, Brunswick CSD will operate on a two hour delay.


Brunswick Brittonkill CSD will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. day.


After reading several books written by the award-winning author Gordan Korman, the 6th grade and Life Skills Class had an hour-long Google meet with him to discuss the writing process, background of the books and how to become an author.
