After reading several books written by the award-winning author Gordan Korman, the 6th grade and Life Skills Class had an hour-long Google meet with him to discuss the writing process, background of the books and how to become an author.

Today we became aware of an online threat made on TikTok towards the District. We immediately contacted the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s, who worked with our SRO to fully investigate and found the threat to be unfounded. As a precaution, law enforcement were on campus at dismissal of both buildings. We encourage you to speak to your children about the importance of sharing information they might have about potential threats to our students, staff and/or school. All threats of violence, even if made in jest, will be taken seriously and they may result in law enforcement becoming involved. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Thank you for your continued support.
