Spring Fundraiser for our current 8th grade class to raise money for the end of the year celebration.
The elementary school conducted a lockdown drill this morning. There was an additional law enforcement presence at the school for this purpose.
This morning the Secondary School conducted its last of four mandated lock down drills. Unlike previous drills this one was conducted entirely with law enforcement clearing the building, thus allowing our safety team members to lockdown in a secure location. Thank you to Deputy Loeper with the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police.
"Fair is foul, and foul is fair." Juniors and Seniors are invited to a private screening of 'The Tragedy of Macbeth Retold' today after school in the auditorium at 2:15 p.m.

The elementary school has a half day today due to parent teacher conferences. Please be advised there are no late buses for secondary students today.
There is a Board of Education Meeting this evening at 7 p.m. in the Secondary School library.
Attention girls in grades 4-8: GIRLS in STEM Conference is this Saturday! This is a free and educational event designed to give girls an introduction to STEM fields and careers and is designed to illustrate the fun side of science and technology. Spread the word!

Spring Spirit Week is coming to Tamarac for teachers, students and staff in grades 6-12!
March is Women's History Month and Ms. Wetmore, the elementary librarian, decorated the circulation desk. She hopes that the women pictured on the desk will spark questions and discussion between students and staff.
