Athletics Practice/Gym Schedule - Week of February 6 - February 12, 2023. Spring Sports Workouts Included.
Tamarac is excited to host the D2 CLASS 2 SECTIONAL (CLASS C) Wrestling Tournament at Tamarac High School this Saturday, February 4. Wrestling is slated to begin at 9:30am. Bundle up! We are expecting dangerously cold temperatures on Friday, February 3. Students who ride the bus to school on Friday may stay inside until the bus arrives at their stop to pick them up. Elementary children who get dropped off at school in the morning will wait inside until they are called to their classrooms.

Parents and students are invited to attend an information meeting on Thursday, February 16th at 6pm in the Secondary School LGI to learn about the Spring Season Tamarac Clay Target Club and how students can become a member. In Mrs. Cipperly's science class, "scientists" were given a set of tools and a dry mixture to separate. They devised their own plans and carried them out, even identifying a fourth "mystery" material!
The Life skills students have been busy gathering clothing from the elementary and middle/high school to post on the Lost and Found. Please look over the website that has been revised to just an elementary slideshow and middle/high school slideshow. A reminder that tomorrow, Friday, January 27th is a half day for all students for a Staff Development day.
On Monday, January 30th, the Secondary School will be following a special schedule to allow for our students, faculty and staff to attend services for Evan Franz. Please note the following: Secondary School Half Day Schedule with dismissal at 10:32 a.m. (periods 1-9). The Elementary School will follow a normal full day of instruction. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we allow our community to come together to pay their respects to a beloved Tamarac student.
Please amend last message. Brunswick CSD will operate on a half day dismissal for both Elementary and Secondary buildings tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25. The Secondary building will dismiss at 10:32 a.m. The Elementary School will dismiss at 11:40 a.m. Due to the early dismissal, the Algebra I Regents exam will move to Friday, January 27 at 8 am.
Due to the continuing weather, the Board of Education Meeting will be moved to tomorrow.
